Printed invitations will never go out of style. Bachelorettes looking to have a good time with their girlfriends can send girls night out invitations. It is a polite and sophisticated gesture that is sure to be well received by the recipients.

Design plays a crucial role in choosing and sending out chic girls night out or bachelorette party invitations. Here are a few things to look out for while looking for the perfect printed card.

The Color

Pink is the quintessential lady’s color. There is no reason to shy away from it. What can make it tacky are the accompanying colors and illustrations. Tick designs with clashing colors off the list. Monochromatic rose color schemes and complementary pastel hues make for very pretty bachelorette invitations. For those planning edgier, more mature events, darker, deeper colors with pink only retained as an accent are a better choice.

The Illustration

Vector illustrations of willowy ladies holding their cocktails in the air are a popular illustration choice for bachelorettes and party hostesses. Subtler designs, such as metropolitan skylines, stiletto shoes and feminine silhouettes also make good choices.

The Font Type

Go for sleek and curvy, not stiff and choppy. Anything that remotely resembles comic book fonts are best relegated to kids’ party invitations.

The Message

It can be a classic “To…From…” invitation or the text can be wittier. This is totally up to the sender. Girls night out invitations generally have a more informal tone. They’re supposed to be a request to join in on something fun, after all.
