If you are overweight, first of all, do not feel bad about your body. Instead focus on the positive aspect in you e.g. your smile, your eyes, your waist, your legs, etc. You simply need to take care of some styling tips so that you can easily hide your fat and look slimmer. Let’s see how.

Highlight your plus points
Emphasize the most beautiful parts in your body. This way no body will notice your imperfections. For example if your waistline is heavy avoid using thick belts. In the same way if your legs are beautiful use knee length tunics or kurti to highlight your legs instead of your heavy upper body.

Color selection
To get a slimmer look wear single color outfit. This way you will look slimmer and taller.

Footwear Selection
Wear at least three inch heel footwear. People’s focus will divert to the heels more than your chubbiness. Avoid wearing ankle strap or closed toe footwear. Open toe footwear will help your legs to look slimmer.

Give extra care to fitting
Fitting of clothes is very important to look slimmer. Avoid wearing loose fitting outfits. Also don’t wear too tight clothes as they will make you look even fat. So make a balance between too loose and too tight.

Pay attention to neckline
For a slimmer look wear open neck outfits. You will look just as thin as your neck will appear longer. Avoid wearing high neck or outfits with closed necklines. It make your bust area look even heavier. For example wear low cut blouse and v-necks with beautiful necklaces.

Fabrics
Pay extra attention while choosing fabrics. Select soft and free flowing fabrics like chiffon, georgette etc.

Patterns and design
Avoid outfits with broad horizontal patterns. Vertical prints is what you should go with. If you love floral prints choose smaller ones.

Shade and color selection
Dark color outfits are ideal to look slimmer. Black, brown, navy blue, plum, burgundy etc. colors give slimmer look. These colors hide chubbiness while light colors emerge it. These days jeweled tones are in vogue. So you can use them too.

Accessories
If your hip area is heavy then wear bold jewelry like big sized pendant, long necklace, broad bracelet etc. This way you will be able to attract focus on your neckline rather than hip area. Also avoid wearing thick waist belt or such designs in clothes. The same way if you have a double chin necklaces shouldn’t be too close to your face, because it will accentuate the chin; longer necklaces have the opposite effect.

Hair style
Tie up your hair instead of leaving them open. It will make your face look thin.

Inner wear
To look slimmer always choose right fitting inner wear. You can also wear tummy trimmer or corset for a bulged tummy.
