Christmas is in the air and we all know what that means… It’s the start of the party season! This is the time when you attend lots of parties, get glammed up, made up and receive presents.
Being in my mid-twenties, this is also the time when most of my friends decide to get married! In December alone, I will be going to three weddings. Seeing my loved ones finally tie the knot is great, but finding a dress for a wedding can be challenging and not to mention expensive.
Luckily, I was able to find discount codes online, so I bought three dresses from my favorite store.
The first dress I bought was a teal crystal droplet dress. I immediately fell in love with the color because it was perfect for an evening wedding. The neckline is bordered by beautiful crystal droplets, which makes it all the more elegant and appropriate for special occasions.
The second dress I bought was a lurex pleated midi dress. This is the dress I’m wearing for my friend’s beach wedding. It’s very flowy and not too clingy. I purposely chose a neutral colored dress so I can finish the look with a turquoise bib necklace. I initially wanted a maxi dress but I’m not that tall. It would only make me look like I’m sweeping the ground with it!
The third dress I bought was a beautiful little black dress. My friend is having a black and white wedding theme, so everyone has to wear either a black or white dress. I don’t particularly look great in white, so I chose black. The dress I chose was a black one shoulder mesh dress. I chose it because it had a gorgeous embellishment across the sleeve and bust.
The good thing about the dresses I bought is that I can use them in many occasions in the future. Their timeless designs and safe colors make them very easy to wear.
To finish my look off, I also bought a pair of nude stilettos. I chose nude because it is great for any color. It matches with nearly everything. Most importantly, it makes my legs look longer. I see a lot of celebrities wearing nude shoes because they make their legs look like a mile long in pictures. So if you do not have a pair of magical nude shoes, buy yourself a pair now!
