Buying men’s leather shoes can sometimes be a difficult process. Often times the shoes are quite expensive, and it is tough to get the perfect fit. However, there are alternative options available that will help save you money, and ensure that you have the perfect style for your tastes. Making leather shoes is not nearly as difficult as one may think. While it is probably not possible for you to manufacture high volumes of men’s leather shoes without the appropriate equipment, it is not impossible for you to make a pair for yourself using this guide.
In order to make your own pair of leather shoes, you should first draw out how you would like your shoe to look. Once you’ve done that, you should cut out a sole in the shape of the pattern you like best. Make sure that the sole is made out of rubber. You should then use a shoe last to build the upper part of your shoe. Make sure the shoe last is exactly the same size and shape as your sole pattern. After building it, wrap it in fabric tightly.
The fourth step you should do is to wrap some masking tape around the shoe last to keep the fabric in place. Only use separate strips to do this step, and make three layers of tape. Then, use a box cutter to slice along the bottom of the shoe. This will remove the tape. You should cut two patterns in the leather, and then put them in place with the tape pattern. Attach the upper part of the shoe to the sole using shoe nails. Once you’ve done that, you should take insoles that you have purchased, and glue them inside the shoe.
Take a shoe hole punch, and create two separate lines of seven holes on each of the shoes. The holes should be exactly even and parallel with each other. This is where your laces will go. Take the laces, and place them in the holes, and finally, you have created your own pair of leather shoes.
