Corporate workwear is an invaluable addition to any company, working in any industry. As a manager you will be concerned about how your staff look when they are representing the company, and as an employee you will want to make sure that you look as though you can do your job.

1. As a manager you will know that presentable staff will inspire confidence in customers, management and themselves. By looking presentable, it shows that staff care about their jobs.

2. Staff themselves will want to look smart, as they take pride in both their work and their appearance. Providing corporate workwear for them will show them that you as a company care about them, and are prepared to invest in them.

3. Your company may need something to separate it from the many companies providing a similar product or service. By having corporate workwear, your brand can easily be recognised by everyone that sees your staff. Think about all the free advertising. How many people do your staff see whilst doing their job?

4. Corporate workwear can help to attract new customers, as they will be exposed to your brand more often, and in the sort of places that they may or may not expect. What about at the supermarket, or whilst on a busy construction site?

5. Once people can see what a professional looking company you are, you can attract more people to work for you. By attracting more people, you can be more choosy about who you employ, and so have a higher calibre of staff,

6. Word of mouth referrals might be very important to you. How many more people would think of your company by name if they were exposed to your brand more often?

7. In the same way that you advertise your brand on your vehicles and stationery, why not advertise on the clothes worn by your staff too?

8. First impressions count, remember. What would your customers think if your staff turn up at a job in paint spattered jeans and an old tatty T-shirt? Why not make sure that they give the best impression of the company that they can?

9. Depending on your industry, your corporate clothing may need to meet certain safety standards. Clothing for electricians needs to be able resist sparks to reduce the risk of it catching fire. If you work outdoors then you might need to be protected against water or against the cold.

10. By introducing corporate workwear into you company, you can be sure that all staff have the clothing they need. No matter what time of year it is, or whatever the weather, you and your staff will be prepared, and able to carry out the job in hand.

Now you know more about the benefits of corporate workwear, isn’t it time you introduced corporate workwear into your company?
