Wedding dresses, prom dresses, and bridesmaid dresses are beautiful and we love them (most of the time), but after that one magical night the dress sits in your closet where it gathers dust and takes up space, never to see the light of day again. You know what, let the dress go. It served its purpose for you, now it’s time to let somebody else use it to make their own memories.

If you like what they have, and they like what you have you can swap. You both benefit. If you can’t work out a swap you can often sell it on these sites as well.
You may not want to deal with the hassle of selling or swapping the dress, so why not donate it? Formal dresses usually cost more money than a casual dress and many girls simply can’t afford them, especially with the current economy. You might just brighten up the day of a young girl if she gets the dress you so kindly donated.
